DetermiNation is the American Cancer Society’s signature endurance event program that enables athletes of all levels to turn their passion for half-marathons, marathons, triathlons, or cycling races into a lifesaving effort to fight cancer. With the DetermiNation program, athletes are able to make their miles more meaningful by dedicating their efforts to the fight against cancer, and in honor or memory of a loved one. Training for an endurance race is a huge commitment, but by joining the DetermiNation program you can help save lives. The program will provide the support, training, and fundraising tools you need to achieve your personal victory - first to raise funds that will help save lives, and then to cross the finish line on race day. And, because every mile is more meaningful, you'll have the extra motivation you need knowing you're helping save lives from all types of cancer. The American Cancer Society is very excited to again partner with the Hyannis Marathon for the 2010 race. Make your miles more meaningful by participating in the event on behalf of this very worthwhile cause. Help save lives and create a world with more birthdays. For more information about participating in the DetermiNation program with the Hyannis Marathon, visit our website, www.acsdetermination.org, or contact Gillian Quigley at 781-314-2633 or gillian.quigley@cancer.org. We are also in need of volunteers and would love your help! Please contact us if interested. About the American Cancer Society: |
