Meet Mary McManus, a woman of courage and faith who triumphed over polio and post polio syndrome to become a 2009 Boston Marathon Finisher as part of Spaulding Rehab's Race for Rehab Team. Mary will share her inspirational story and autograph copies of her poetry book, "New World Greetings: Inspirational Poetry and Musings for a New World". The poems in her book, overflowing with positive intentions and messages of hope and healing fueled her journey from post polio patient to Boston Marathon Finisher! Mary donates 20% of the proceeds of book sales to Spaulding Rehab's International Rehab Center for Polio. |

The new owner Kevin Petrovek, an avid runner and longtime member of the Hyannis Road Runners and the Cape Cod Athletic Club will be assisting you. Owned by two sisters, Dawn and Heather, "Wag Your Tail" is a line of t-shirts that let people express what makes their tail wag. If you want to see how great the shirts look on, Heather will be wearing 13.1 Dog while running the half. |
